US declines involvement in Imran Khan’s accusations

The United States has refused to get involved in the accusations made by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. In a recent interview, Khan blamed the US for the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan and accused the US of using Pakistan as a scapegoat for its own failures.

A US State Department spokesperson responded by saying that the US is focused on working with Pakistan to promote peace and stability in the region, but is not interested in engaging in a blame game. The spokesperson also reiterated the US’s commitment to supporting Afghanistan’s security and economic development.

The US-Pakistan relationship has been strained in recent years, with the US accusing Pakistan of supporting militant groups and withholding aid as a result. Khan’s accusations appear to be an attempt to shift the blame onto the US for the current situation in Afghanistan. However, the US has made it clear that it will not engage in such rhetoric and will continue to focus on constructive engagement with Pakistan.
