Hindu child, age 3, abducted in Sindh, Pakistan
The four-day-old abduction of three-year-old Samrat Kumar from Kandhkot was noted by the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court. According to Pakistani vernacular media outlet Jasarat, Chief Justice Sindh High Court Ahmed Ali M Shaikh has requested a report on the event from the session judge of Kandhkot, the IGP Sindh, and the SSP Kandhkot within two days.
It should be remembered that the kidnappers of three-year-old Samrat Kumar uploaded a video following his kidnapping that showed the boy’s wrists being bound and his trouble eating. Across the province, there was a vocal outcry against the abduction of a young child.
Imdad Soomro (Sehwani) tweeted the image above, which is allegedly taken from the kidnappers’ purported video, with the comment, “Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Ahmad Ali Shaikh took the notice of abduction of three-year-old Hindu youngster Samrat Kumar… ordered the Sessions Judge, SSP Kandhkot, and the IG Sindh to produce a report.
