Social media campaign launched against Taliban in Afghanistan
KABUL: Afghans have started a social media campaign against insurgence of Taliban
They called on the international community to stop Pakistan for its negative interference in Afghan affairs. The campaign indicates to Pakistan with a Hash Tag of “SanctionPakistan”, “Stop Proxy War”, “Stop Supporting” terrorist group. It has been used by social media users for more than 70,000 in Facebook and Twitter. Many of the Afghan government politicians and famous figures has joined this campaign.
Afghans on both side of the Durand line blamed Pakistan for current crisis in Afghanistan, saying that the country has not only provided safe heavens to terrorists on its soil but also send thousand terrorists under the line of Jihad to Afghanistan.
