A 13-year-old Baloch child, identified as Abdulmo’er Shahbakhsh, was arrested by resorting to violence and physical force by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Sarjangal area of Zahedan and was transferred to an unknown location.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, security forces arrested Abdulmo’er Shahbakhsh, a 13-year-old Baloch boy from the village of “Sorna’i” in the Sarjangal area of Zahedan. He was subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.

As reported by the Haalvsh news outlet, passengers in two vehicles, one with a personal license plate and the other military arrested the child in front of a supermarket, employing violent means.

It is noteworthy that despite the family’s efforts to obtain information about Abdulmo’er’s whereabouts and health, they have not received any updates, as security agencies have refused to provide any clear information on the matter.

So far, there is no precise information available regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, the location of his custody, or his conditions.
