At Islam Khabar, our editorial team is a mix of passionate journalists, academics, and community advocates who deeply understand the complexities of Muslim life across Asia. Zufar Saab, our Founder and Managing Editor, has spent over a decade reporting on religious freedom and cultural identity in the Muslim world.

Ridwaan Dajani leads our religious affairs coverage, offering nuanced perspectives on Islam’s role in Asian societies, from Indonesia to Pakistan. Naazil Ismail, our Southeast Asia Correspondent, brings insights into the lives of Muslim communities in Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

We also rely on experts like Mukarram Ghazi, a political analyst and contributor, who helps provide context for the region’s political landscape and its impact on Muslim populations. With reporters in cities like Cairo, Jakarta, and Tehran, we provide a unique and broad view of Muslim life across the continent.
