Ehsan Askani, a 12-year-old child, was shot and killed by direct gunfire from Iranian security forces inside a civilian vehicle in Rask, Sistan and Baluchestan Province. Salman Askani, Ehsan’s cousin, was also seriously injured in the shooting.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Saturday, September 14, 2024, Ehsan Askani, a 12-year-old resident of Jakigour village in Rask, lost his life after being shot by government forces while inside a moving vehicle.
As reported by Haalvsh, the special unit forces in Rask shot at a vehicle carrying second-hand “Tanakora” goods. Ehsan Askani was killed by a direct bullet hit, and his cousin sustained serious injuries due to the vehicle overturning.
